Dudeism, the religion for people who knows there are far more important things in life than working your ass off and getting frustrated over things that shouldnt even bother you. Religion, what is religion anyway? do you have to worship some strange god and make weird sacrifices when your a dudeist?, the answer is simply no, actually you dont have to do anything at all, if you can complete this modest task youre in. No praying, unless you dont want to, and if you do want to say a few words to make you feel all better about yourself then just recite the dudes prayer:
Our Dude, who art in Los Angeles,
Hallowed be thy handle.
Thy rug will come.
Thy chill be done
All over Earth, as it is in your bungalow.
Give us this day our daily caucasian,
And forgive us our stresspasses,
As we forgive those who stresspass against us.
And lead us not into Simi Valley,
But deliver us from real reactionaries and human paraquat.
For thine is the lane, and the ball, and the what-have-you,
Down through the ages, across the sands of time,
Lodged against the abutment.
Fuckin’ A man.
So, whatever you do, dont do anything.
Abide.
